Sana’a, Yemen – On May 17th 2012, hundreds of tribesmen from the huge tribal confederation Bakil met to settle a conflict between two families after a murder by a member of one of them.

To avoid any violence, many tribes offered dozens of rifles and guns to convince the sheikh in charge of the case to find a peaceful solution. Despite the apparent violence of this tribal meeting, peaceful aspirations were the keys of this day.
